Introduction to Fashion Design

This week, we learned how to do a digital illustrate a fashion figure on Adobe Illustrator. Ms Maria taught us step by step, starting from the head, the body, the hair, and the clothing.

FACE, HAIR, & BODY

For the face, I used Korean actress, Go Yoon Jung's face to do my illustration on. We start by outlining the model's face, and then colouring them in using colour palettes from the internet. These colour palettes are very helpful to use as a guide for your illustration.

After that, we can add more details such as the eyebrows, eyelashes, cheekbones, ears, and hair.

For the body, we needed to look for models wearing swimsuits, as it will be easier for us to follow their body shape and outline. Using the same process as the face & hair, we outlined the figure and coloured them in using the colour guide. We also made sure to outline the details such as the collarbone, apex, crotch, knees, and calfs.

ASSIGNMENT 2 - 10 DIGITAL DESIGN ILLUSTRATION

For this assignment, I will be using Jacquemus Fall 2020 Ready-To-Wear Collection. These are the 10 designs I will be using for the illustration.

These are my final outcome for this assignment. I'm quite satisfied with the results considering this is my first time using any Adobe Softwares. It was actually more entertaining than I thought it would be.
Looking forward to getting more familiar with the software.
