Introduction to Fashion Design 

Lecture 2 

This week, Ms. Maria showed us slides that contains fashion figures. The first figure she showed us looked disproportionate, the shoulders are bigger than the hips and the legs were too short. Then, she taught us how to draw a proportionate 9 head fashion figure with step by steps. 

Here are my results after following Ms. Maria's tutorial :

The 9 Head Fashion Figure contains 10 line to break up the body into 9 equal sections, starting with the top of the head to the ankles. 

She also taught us how to draw another version of the fashion figure. This second one is slightly slanted to show a posing figure. 

After that, Ms. Maria showed us how she develop one of the fashion figures into one of her favourite character and told us to do the same with ours. I chose Flora from Winx club. I ended up not drawing the rest of her hair because in the end it looked too messy and I couldn't get it to look like how I wanted it to. Here is the inspiration picture and result :
